ENHYPEN Set to Ignite Japanese Stadiums with 'SUMMER EDITION' Tour

The K-pop group ENHYPEN is ready to set the stage ablaze in Japan. Members Jungwon (정원), Heeseung (희승), Jay (제이), Jake (제이크), Sunghoon (성훈), Sunwoo (선우), and Niki (니키) will perform at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo today (July 5) and tomorrow (July 6), followed by shows at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on August 2-3 as part of their 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'WALK THE LINE' IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-'.

This tour marks a significant milestone as ENHYPEN becomes the fastest overseas artist to perform at a Japanese stadium, achieving this feat in just 4 years and 7 months since their debut. Their rapid rise has solidified their status as a top-tier K-pop group, breaking into what is often referred to as the 'dream stage' of Japanese stadiums.

The atmosphere around the concert venues is already festive, with local sports newspapers like Sports Hochi, Daily Sports, and Nikkan Sports producing special editions featuring ENHYPEN on the front page, highlighting their journey. Fans, known as ENGENEs, are lining up at nearby convenience stores to purchase these editions.

In Tokyo, various fan events linked to the 'SUMMER EDITION' are currently taking place, including the Fan Experience Tokyo, which started on June 24. This event features advertisements on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, a special exhibition at Tokyo Tower, and food trucks showcasing ENHYPEN's brand.

Through their agency BELIFT LAB, ENHYPEN expressed their gratitude for the immense interest, stating, "We have prepared a great performance to show our appreciation. We believe this stadium tour is a crucial step for ENHYPEN to leap to greater heights, and we will approach it with a sense of honor."

The 'SUMMER EDITION' promises unique water-themed performances, with ENHYPEN stating, "We focused on creating a fun and refreshing stage for our fans. Expect a performance that leaves a lasting impression even after it ends."

On July 4, ENHYPEN released their fourth Japanese single '宵 -YOI-' (Yoi), with the title track 'Shine On Me' quickly climbing to the top of the LINE MUSIC real-time 'Song Top 100' chart. This song is featured as the ending theme for the local drama 'I Want to Catch a Shrimp (海老だってが釣りたい)', generating buzz. The new single, their first in about two years, will be officially released on July 29.
