ENHYPEN Nominated for Two Categories at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards

The K-pop group ENHYPEN has garnered attention by being nominated in two categories at the upcoming 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs). According to the list of finalists released on November 25 (local time), ENHYPEN, consisting of Jungwon (정원), Heeseung (희승), Jay (제이), Jake (제이크), Sunghoon (성훈), Sunoo (선우), and Niki (니키), is up for the titles of 'Top Global K-Pop Artist' and 'Top K-Pop Touring Artist'.

The BBMAs are recognized as one of the four major music award ceremonies in the United States, alongside the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, highlighting their prestige. Nominees are selected based on data from the past year, which includes album and song sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring, and social engagement, as well as Billboard chart performance.

ENHYPEN's achievements this year have been remarkable. Their second studio album, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD', released in July, reached a peak position of No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated July 27), marking the group's highest ranking to date and setting a record for the longest chart run at 12 weeks.

The album achieved 'double million-seller' status in its first week of sales and recently re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7 following the release of its repackaged version, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-'. This repackaged album also set a record for the highest first-week sales for a K-pop repackaged album, with 1.4 million copies sold.

The scale of their world tour is also expanding. ENHYPEN kicked off their third world tour in October at the Goyang Sports Complex and has filled all announced 'WALK THE LINE' dates with stadium and dome performances. Following their record as the fastest K-pop boy group to hold a dome tour in three Japanese cities within four years, they are set to perform at Thailand's largest venue, Rajamangala National Stadium, in June next year. ENHYPEN's global popularity solidifies their status as a top-tier K-pop group.

Additionally, ENHYPEN is scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April next year, marking the shortest time for a K-pop boy group to debut at Coachella.
