ENHYPEN Makes Billboard Year-End Chart Debut with 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD'
K-pop group ENHYPEN has achieved a significant milestone by making their debut on the Billboard Year-End Charts. According to the music publication Billboard, their second studio album, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD', has secured the 196th position on the Billboard 200 for the year 2024.
Released on July 27, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD' reached its peak at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and maintained a presence on the chart for ten consecutive weeks. After a brief period outside the rankings, the album made a remarkable comeback, climbing back into the top 10, eventually reaching number 7 on November 30 following the release of its repackaged version.
This album marks ENHYPEN's first full-length release in 2 years and 9 months, with all members contributing to the songwriting, composition, and production, adding authenticity to the project. The repackaged album showcased a more mature concept, refined performances, and unique whisper rap, broadening their musical spectrum and receiving positive reviews.
In 2024, ENHYPEN has made significant strides, achieving first-week sales of 2.34 million copies for their second studio album, marking their first double million-seller. The album is on the verge of surpassing 3 million in cumulative sales. Additionally, the repackaged album set a record for the highest first-week sales for a K-pop repackaged album, with 1.4 million copies sold, further demonstrating ENHYPEN's exceptional album power.
Currently, ENHYPEN is expanding their global influence through their world tour, 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR: WALK THE LINE'. They kicked off their third world tour in October at the Goyang Gymnasium, filling all announced dates with stadium and dome performances. They are also set to become the fastest K-pop boy group to hold a dome tour across three cities in Japan (Veruna Dome, PayPay Dome, and Kyocera Dome Osaka) and will perform at Thailand's largest venue, Rajamangala National Stadium, in Bangkok.
