ENHYPEN Appointed as Seoul's Promotional Ambassadors
On June 17, 2025, ENHYPEN was officially appointed as the promotional ambassadors for the city of Seoul, recognizing their global influence. The group participated in a ceremony held at the Seoul City Hall in Jung-gu, where they expressed their excitement about representing the city. They stated, "Seoul is where we began our musical journey and where we met our fans, ENGENE. The charm of Seoul is limitless, and we will work hard to ensure that many people around the world love Seoul as much as they love K-pop."
ENHYPEN plans to engage in various activities to showcase the diverse attractions of Seoul and enhance the city's brand value. Their role as ambassadors is particularly significant as they represent K-pop on a global stage. The group has previously demonstrated their strong influence through a large-scale world tour and numerous collaborations with global brands, solidifying K-pop's international stature.
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon remarked, "As Seoul continues to grow as a beloved cultural city worldwide, having talented individuals like ENHYPEN serve as ambassadors is a tremendous asset. I am delighted to collaborate with them on meaningful activities to share Seoul's allure with the world."
Recently, ENHYPEN released their sixth mini-album, 'DESIRE: UNLEASH,' achieving remarkable success with over 2.14 million copies sold in the first week, making it the second highest-selling K-pop album released this year. Their popularity has also led them to secure the top spot on the Hanteo weekly album chart and third place on the Billboard 200 in the United States. Additionally, they achieved a triple crown on the latest Oricon charts in Japan, topping the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking,' 'Weekly Album Ranking,' and 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking,' as well as leading in Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales,' 'Hot Albums,' and 'Download Albums.'
Looking ahead, ENHYPEN will hold their 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'WALK THE LINE' IN JAPAN - SUMMER EDITION-' at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on July 5-6 and at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on August 2-3.
