Elderly Woman Arrested for Stabbing Husband to Death in Incheon

An elderly woman in her 70s has been arrested by the Incheon Jungbu Police on charges of manslaughter after allegedly stabbing her husband, also in his 70s, to death. The incident occurred on the morning of June 23 at their villa in Jung-gu, Incheon.

Following the incident, the woman, identified as A, contacted her son-in-law, claiming that her husband, referred to as B, had fallen and injured himself. She then left for her daughter's home. Concerned for his father-in-law's safety, the son-in-law called the police, who discovered B's lifeless body inside the home, found naked with stab wounds.

After bringing A in for questioning, police determined there was sufficient evidence to arrest her. During the investigation, A reportedly stated that an argument ensued when her husband attempted to leave the house naked, and she could not recall the events that followed.

Authorities have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death. A police spokesperson indicated that further investigations will be conducted to decide on the charges and whether to apply for an arrest warrant.
