Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' Tops Apple Music's Most Streamed Songs of the Decade

In a recent announcement celebrating the 10th anniversary of Apple Music, the platform revealed that the most streamed song over the past decade is Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' (셰이프 오브 유). Released in January 2017, this track made history by becoming the most streamed pop song globally on its release day. It has maintained a position at the top of at least one country's pop charts for over 1,800 days and has been a global hit for more than 1,000 days. Additionally, 'Shape of You' has garnered an impressive 6.5 billion views on YouTube. Following closely behind, The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' secured the second spot, while Drake's 'God's Plan' came in third. Among Korean artists, BTS (방탄소년단) achieved the highest ranking with 'Dynamite' at 34th place, while 'Butter' landed at 252nd. BLACKPINK's Rosé, who collaborated with Bruno Mars, saw her song 'On The Ground' (아파트) at 459th, and the children's song 'Baby Shark' (아기상어) by Pinkfong ranked 351st.
