'Eagle Five' Episode 15: Misunderstandings and Revelations

In the latest episode of KBS2's weekend drama 'Eagle Five' (독수리 5형제를 부탁해!), which aired on March 22, tensions escalated as Han Dong-seok (안재욱) grappled with his growing misunderstandings about Ma Gwang-sook (엄지원). The episode achieved a viewership rating of 18.7% according to Nielsen Korea, with a notable 3% rating among the key demographic of viewers aged 20-49, making it the only show to reach this milestone across all channels.

During the episode, Gwang-sook rejected the advances of Park Sang-nam (공정환), feeling frustrated by his suggestion to remain friends. She confessed that her claim of being scheduled for surgery was a lie, which left Sang-nam visibly upset as he coldly departed after dropping her off.

Meanwhile, Oh Cheon-soo (최대철) faced a devastating moment when he learned from his daughter in the U.S. about his wife Kang So-yeon (한수연)'s infidelity. Shocked and furious, he vented to his brother Oh Beom-soo (윤박), expressing his disbelief that So-yeon had been unfaithful for three years while he believed she was raising their child abroad. Beom-soo tried to calm his brother, urging him not to act impulsively.

Gwang-sook was equally outraged by Cheon-soo's situation, vowing her unwavering support for him. She encouraged him to stay strong and not to succumb to weakness.

Later, Gwang-sook received a surprising call to halt the production of a liquor she was set to showcase at a festival, prompting her to rush to the LX Hotel. There, she encountered a former colleague, and their playful banter was overheard by Dong-seok, who mistakenly labeled Gwang-sook a gold digger, leading to escalating misunderstandings.

The episode reached a peak of tension when Cheon-soo confronted So-yeon about her affair. Although she insisted they were just good friends, her lack of remorse only fueled his anger, and he firmly rejected any thoughts of reconciliation.

Additionally, Gwang-sook's interaction with Ji Ok-bun (유인영) hinted at new dynamics in the storyline. Initially believing Ok-bun was merely against her relationship with Oh Heung-soo (김동완) due to jealousy, Gwang-sook was taken aback when Ok-bun showed her a photo of a heavily pregnant Seon-hwa (안미나).

As the episode concluded, Dong-seok was left bewildered after witnessing Gwang-sook visiting her late husband's burial site. Gwang-sook's explosive reaction to Dong-seok's insensitive comments about her loyalty and the rumors surrounding her only added to the drama.
