Drama 'Dear M' Set to Air on KBS JOY After Four-Year Delay

The long-awaited drama 'Dear M', which has been in limbo for four years, is expected to be broadcast on KBS JOY rather than KBS. A representative from KBS JOY stated on March 10 that they are currently reviewing the scheduling for 'Dear M'. Although a report suggested that the show would premiere on April 14 as a Monday-Tuesday drama, the representative clarified that nothing has been finalized yet.
'Dear M' is a youth romance drama that follows the search for 'M', the protagonist of a post that caused a stir in the Seoyeon University community, featuring a light-hearted and unfiltered narrative. The cast includes Park Hye-soo, Jaehyun, Noh Jung-ui, Bae Hyun-sung, Lee Jin-hyuk, and Woo Da-bi.
Originally, the series had completed filming and was slated to debut in February 2021 as a KBS Friday drama. However, the broadcast was indefinitely postponed due to school bullying allegations against lead actress Park Hye-soo. As a result, the show has faced a significant delay in its release.
With discussions now underway for it to air on KBS JOY, excitement is building online, especially as male lead Jaehyun is currently serving in the military. Fans are eager to see if the drama will finally be unveiled this spring.
