D.O. Shares Heartwarming Reunion with Taeyeon on 'Amazing Saturday'

In the latest episode of tvN's variety show Amazing Saturday (놀라운 토요일), actor and singer D.O. (도경수) had a delightful reunion with his former label mate Taeyeon (태연). The episode aired on February 1, 2025, featuring D.O. alongside co-stars Won Jin-ah (원진아) and Shin Ye-eun (신예은), who are promoting their film, a remake of the Taiwanese movie Secret (말할 수 없는 비밀).

During the show, host Boom (붐) praised D.O. for his talents in acting, music, and cooking, stating, "This person excels in everything." D.O.'s humble greeting prompted fellow host Shin Dong-yup (신동엽) to quip, "What more needs to be said? It's D.O.!" Boom added, "His name is a brand in itself."

D.O. described the film as a fantasy romance set in a university practice room where secrets of time unfold. He expressed his disappointment over the absence of a food guessing game on the show, revealing his love for food and his confidence in guessing song rhythms despite not knowing the lyrics.

Won Jin-ah, visiting Amazing Saturday for the first time, shared her excitement about the energy of the show, while Shin Ye-eun embraced a princess concept, expressing envy over the delicious food and stylish outfits featured each week.

In a humorous moment, Taeyeon, dressed in a vibrant outfit with Hanhae (한해), felt shy upon seeing D.O. and lowered her head, worried he might not recognize her. She later shared, "I greeted D.O. because I was afraid he wouldn’t remember me." D.O. couldn't help but laugh when he heard her call out to him.
