Do Ji-hye from 'High School Mom and Dad 5' Reveals Frustration Over Ex-Husband's Disappearance

In the latest episode of MBN's 'High School Mom and Dad 5' aired on November 27, 2024, Do Ji-hye, who became a mother at 19, shared her struggles with her ex-husband's habitual disappearances. The 27-year-old mother recounted how her ex-husband had recently contacted her, suggesting they proceed with a divorce by mutual consent, only to vanish again shortly after.

During the episode, host Seo Jang-hoon inquired about her situation, prompting Do Ji-hye to explain, "After he contacted me, he suggested we get a divorce, but then he disappeared again." In a desperate move, she took their child to her in-laws' house, but they refused to open the door. It was only after she called her ex-husband that he finally agreed to finalize the divorce.

Seo Jang-hoon humorously remarked, "Don’t you want to poke your own eyes out? Why did you marry someone like that?" to which Do Ji-hye responded, "I still haven’t resolved everything with my ex-husband."

Later in the episode, Do Ji-hye met with a long-time friend who revealed that Do Ji-hye had been blocked by her ex-husband on social media. The friend showed her a screenshot of her ex-husband's profile, indicating he was in a new relationship. "It seems like he’s been dating someone for about three years now, and he’s been traveling and spending a lot of money," the friend noted.

Do Ji-hye expressed her frustration, stating, "When I talk about our child, he says he doesn’t have time to see them. I asked if he plans to see our child, and he said he probably won’t.
