Disney+'s acclaimed series, Shogun (쇼군) and The Bear (더 베어), showcased their excellence by winning multiple prestigious awards at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. Shogun, which previously made history by winning 18 awards at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, continued its winning streak by securing the most awards in the TV series category at the Golden Globes.

The series took home the award for Best Television Series (Drama), along with Best Actor in a Television Series for Hiroyuki Sanada (사나다 히로유키), Best Actress in a Television Series for Anna Sawai (안나 사웨이), and Best Supporting Actor for Tadanobu Asano (아사노 타다노부). Set in a tumultuous era, Shogun tells the epic tale of powerful warlord Yoshii Toranaga and British navigator John Blackthorne, who finds himself stranded in Japan. The series has captivated audiences with its compelling narrative, realistic sword-fighting action, and outstanding performances from its cast.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Allen White, who stars as the lead character Carmy in The Bear, won the award for Best Actor in a Television Series.
