Disney+ Officially Confirms Production of Moving Season 2

Disney+ has officially announced the production of Season 2 of '무빙' (Moving). During the 'Disney Content Showcase 2024' held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on November 21, Carol Choi, the Head of Original Content Strategy for The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific, revealed the news.

Choi stated, "'무빙' is a coming-of-age story that explores themes of humanity and family. Since its release in 2023, '무빙' has received immense love and has achieved significant recognition at various award ceremonies, including winning the Grand Prize at the Blue Dragon Series Awards."

She further added, "We have decided to proceed with Season 2 of '무빙' in collaboration with writer Kang Full. As we are still in the early stages, we will provide more details in the future."

The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific hosted the 'Disney Content Showcase 2024' on November 20-21 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, featuring top global stars from the U.S. and the Asia Pacific region. The event allowed attendees to preview upcoming theatrical releases and streaming projects slated for 2025-2026. Over 400 journalists from 12 countries, including South Korea and Japan, attended the showcase.

On the first day, Disney and its subsidiaries, including 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Studios, presented their theatrical and streaming lineups, showcasing their exceptional creativity and storytelling prowess. The second day focused on the lineups from South Korea, Japan, and the Asia Pacific region, drawing significant interest.
