Director Lee Sang-geun's New Comedy 'The Devil Has Moved In' Set for August Release

The highly anticipated comedy film 'The Devil Has Moved In' (악마가 이사왔다), directed by Lee Sang-geun, is officially set to hit theaters on August 13, 2025. Along with the announcement, a quirky character video and four unique character posters have been unveiled.

The film follows the story of a young man named Gil-gu (안보현), who takes on an unusual part-time job to monitor Sun-ji (임윤아), a woman who transforms into a devil every dawn. This darkly comedic narrative promises to deliver a wild ride filled with supernatural antics.

The released character video showcases the film's comedic essence, featuring four characters who embody the theme of 'crazy' in their own distinctive ways. From Sun-ji's chilling transformation into a devil to Gil-gu's struggles in a hellish part-time job, the video hints at the outrageous performances to come. Other characters include Jang-su, who has served Sun-ji for over 20 years, and Ara, Sun-ji's cousin, who is on the verge of losing her sanity from the chaos.

The character posters further highlight the unique traits of each character. Sun-ji, with her wild hair and striking red accents, is labeled as the 'addictive devil.' Meanwhile, Gil-gu's expression reflects a mix of fear and curiosity, aptly described as the 'harmless part-timer.' Jang-su appears weary and enlightened, while Ara displays a discontented look, adding to the film's intriguing character dynamics.

With the release of the character video and posters, excitement for 'The Devil Has Moved In' continues to build as it approaches its theatrical debut on August 13, 2025.
