Despite Broadcast Cancellations, 'Amazing Saturday' and 'Salim Nam' Air as Scheduled

As the effects of the recent state of emergency continue, many broadcasting networks have opted to cancel scheduled entertainment programs and focus on news coverage. However, networks without news reporting capabilities have decided to maintain their regular programming.

According to the schedule for December 7, tvN will air 'Run, Flame Girl' (달려라 불꽃 소녀) at 5:55 PM, followed by 'Amazing Saturday' (놀라운 토요일) at 7:40 PM, and 'Love is a One-Way Bridge' (사랑은 외나무다리에서) at 9:20 PM.

ENA will also continue with its programming, airing the second episode of 'Baek Jong-won's Les Misérables' (백종원의 레미제라블) at 8:30 PM without any interruptions.

KBS 2TV is currently operating under a news special broadcast system, but it will continue its regular programming without changes. The lineup includes 'Immortal Songs' (불후의 명곡) at 6:05 PM, the weekend drama 'Ironing Family' (다리미 패밀리) at 8 PM, 'Salim Nam' (살림하는 남자들) at 9:20 PM, and 'I Am a Singer in Germany' (나라는 가수 인 독일) at 10:40 PM.

Most other programs have been canceled. SBS announced the cancellation of the 10th episode of the Friday-Saturday drama 'Hot Blooded Priest 2' (열혈사제2). The status of 'I Want to Know That' (그것이 알고싶다) will depend on the timing of news specials.

MBC has also been in a news special broadcast mode for consecutive days, leading to the cancellation of entertainment shows 'How Do You Play?' (놀면 뭐하니), 'All-Seeing Companion' (전지적 참견 시점), and the drama 'The Call You Just Made' (지금 거신 전화는) scheduled for today.

Channel A has canceled the drama 'Marry You' (결혼해YOU), while MBN has decided to cancel the entertainment shows 'Let's Go Season 3' (가보자GO 시즌3) and 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' (속풀이쇼 동치미) in favor of continuous news coverage.

These scheduling changes stem from the recent declaration of a state of emergency by President Yoon Suk-yeol, marking the first such declaration in 44 years. Following a session with 190 members of the National Assembly, a motion to lift the emergency was passed after 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Just three hours later, at 4:28 AM, President Yoon announced in a public address that the emergency would be lifted, which was subsequently confirmed in a cabinet meeting. Additionally, a vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon is set to take place today at 5 PM, prompting broadcasting networks to shift to an emergency news-focused format.
