Demi Moore Opens Up About Ex-Husband Bruce Willis' Health Struggles
Demi Moore, 62, has spoken about the current health condition of her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, 69, who is battling dementia and aphasia. The couple was married from 1987 to 2000 and shares three daughters. In a recent interview with CNN, Moore shared that Willis is in a 'very stable condition.' She emphasized the importance of accepting those affected by such conditions and finding joy and love in the moment. Moore expressed that watching Willis face health challenges has been 'very difficult' and something she wouldn't wish on anyone. However, she also noted that while it is a 'great loss,' there can be 'great beauty and gifts' that come from it. Bruce Willis' family announced in March 2022 that he would retire from acting due to his language disorder, and in February 2023, they revealed he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Since then, Willis has received immense love and support from his family and friends during this challenging time. Recently, he was seen celebrating Thanksgiving with his family. Bruce Willis remarried model Emma Heming in 2009, and they have two daughters, Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10. Heming acknowledged the chronic and progressive nature of the disease, stating that they understand he will not improve, while also highlighting the importance of love and affection in their lives.
