December 2024 Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed

According to the latest big data analysis conducted by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the top three boy group members in terms of personal brand reputation for December 2024 are G-Dragon (지드래곤) from BIGBANG, Cha Eun-woo (차은우) from ASTRO, and Jin (진) from BTS (방탄소년단). The analysis was based on data collected from November 14 to December 14, 2024, involving 745 boy group members and a total of 84,468,623 brand data points, marking a 20.09% increase from the previous month’s 70,338,147 data points.

The brand reputation index reflects how consumer online habits significantly influence brand consumption. This analysis allows for the measurement of positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and consumer engagement regarding individual boy group members. The evaluation also includes brand value assessments and qualitative evaluations from brand reputation monitors, with recommendation indicators weighted in the analysis.

The top 30 rankings for December 2024 are as follows: 1) G-Dragon (BIGBANG), 2) Cha Eun-woo (ASTRO), 3) Jin (BTS), 4) Won-bin (라이즈), 5) Jimin (BTS), 6) Kang Daniel (워너원), 7) Jungkook (BTS), 8) Daesung (BIGBANG), 9) Taeyang (BIGBANG), 10) V (BTS), 11) Key (샤이니), 12) Heechul (슈퍼주니어), 13) Baekhyun (엑소), 14) Park Ji-hoon (워너원), 15) Kyuhyun (슈퍼주니어), 16) Minho (샤이니), 17) Sohee (라이즈), 18) Jun (세븐틴), 19) J-Hope (BTS), 20) RM (BTS), 21) Changmin (동방신기), 22) Kim Jae-hwan (워너원), 23) Mingyu (세븐틴), 24) Seongchan (라이즈), 25) Jeonghan (세븐틴), 26) Sunwoo (더보이즈), 27) Hoshi (세븐틴), 28) Hwang Min-hyun (워너원), 29) Suga (BTS), 30) Hyunjae (더보이즈).

G-Dragon (지드래곤) achieved the highest brand reputation score of 7,685,320, with participation, media, communication, and community indices of 1,735,990, 1,380,505, 2,178,469, and 2,390,356 respectively, reflecting a remarkable 124.26% increase from November’s score of 3,426,896.

Cha Eun-woo (차은우) secured the second position with a brand reputation score of 5,335,804, showing a 44.99% increase from November. Jin (진) from BTS followed closely in third place with a score of 5,296,716, marking a 25.85% rise.

The analysis also highlighted that G-Dragon's brand was associated with keywords such as 'comeback', 'unique', and 'unchanged', while the keyword analysis revealed 'Home Sweet Home', 'Power', and 'Mama' as prominent. The positive sentiment ratio for G-Dragon was an impressive 91.49%.
