DAY6 Makes History as the First Korean Band to Perform at Gocheok Sky Dome, Selling Out 38,000 Seats

DAY6 (데이식스) has once again demonstrated their impressive ticketing power by completely selling out all seats for their upcoming concert at Gocheok Sky Dome. The band is set to hold their solo concert, '2024 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'' (2024 데이식스 스페셜 콘서트 '더 프레젠트'), on December 20 and 21 in Guro-gu, Seoul.

Tickets for the concert went on pre-sale for official fan club members, My Day, on November 19 at 8 PM, followed by general sales starting on November 20 at 8 PM. Following the opening of general sales, approximately 38,000 seats for the two performances were sold out. This follows their previous successful concerts in April at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, where they attracted over 34,000 attendees across three shows, and in September at Incheon Inspire Arena, which saw over 40,000 fans across three performances. With their upcoming Gocheok Sky Dome concert, DAY6 is set to achieve their highest audience numbers per show, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in the concert scene.

This concert marks a new version of the special solo concerts that DAY6 has held every year during the holiday season. After their military service, the band will greet fans with a Christmas special concert titled 'DAY6 Christmas Special Concert 'The Present: You are My Day'' (크리스마스 스페셜 콘서트 '더 프레젠트: 유 아 마이 데이') in December 2023, expressing gratitude to fans who have patiently awaited their return. This will be their first special solo concert in about a year, allowing them to wrap up 2024 together with their audience.

Currently, DAY6 is successfully conducting their third world tour, 'DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR' (포에버 영), with sold-out shows in cities such as Incheon, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and New York. Upcoming performances include Singapore on November 22, Bangkok on November 30 and December 1, Kaohsiung on January 18-19, Hong Kong on January 25-26, Osaka on February 12-13, Tokyo on February 15-16, Manila on February 22, Sydney on April 6, Melbourne on April 9, Auckland, New Zealand on April 12, and Los Angeles and New York on April 16-17 and April 19, respectively.

Additionally, DAY6 recently won three awards, including the prestigious '2024 Grand Performer' at the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards' (2024 코리아그랜드뮤직어워즈), showcasing their popularity and the love they have received from fans and the public in their tenth year since debut.
