Lim Si-yeon, who topped the male popularity vote, made a beeline for the Couple Zone instead of the Single Zone. Despite his preference for younger partners, Kim Hyun-joong, who seemed smitten with Lim Si-yeon, decided to pursue her, even though she is two years his senior.

The two quickly struck up a conversation, with Kim Hyun-joong expressing, "If I had only focused on age from the start, I might not have opened my heart. But I realized that age might not be that important after all," conveying his excitement.

Another couple introduced was Jo Young-seok and Kim Soo-min, who also felt an instant connection.
