Concerts by Roy Kim, Infinite, and Da Duo to Proceed as Scheduled Amidst Martial Law

Despite the recent declaration of martial law in South Korea, major concerts by artists such as Infinite, Roy Kim, and Dynamic Duo are set to continue as planned. According to OSEN's report on December 4, the 'Limited Edition' tour celebrating Infinite's 15th anniversary will take place from December 6 to 8 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul without any changes to the schedule. This concert follows their first full-group concert in seven years, which sold out immediately upon ticket release.
Dynamic Duo will also hold their solo concert 'Let’s Meet Sometimes' at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on the same dates, marking their 20th anniversary. The duo confirmed that their concert will proceed as scheduled, unaffected by the martial law.
Roy Kim is set to perform his concert 'Roy Actually' at the Handball Stadium in Olympic Park from December 6 to 8. Initially planned for December 7 and 8, an additional show on December 6 was added due to high demand. A representative from his agency, Wake One, confirmed that the concert will go on as planned.
Japanese band YOASOBI will also continue with their concerts in South Korea on December 7 and 8, following their successful debut concert in the country last December. Despite the martial law announcement, which caused confusion among fans, the band is expected to meet their fans as scheduled.
The sudden imposition of martial law had raised concerns in the entertainment industry, especially with many year-end concerts approaching. However, with the lifting of martial law, it appears that the concert scene will return to normal.
In contrast, singer Lee Seung Hwan had to cancel his concert 'Like a Black and White Movie' scheduled for December 4 and 5 due to the martial law. However, after the law was lifted, he announced that the concert would proceed as planned, expressing his apologies for the confusion and promising a deeper connection with his audience through his performance.
On the same day, global pop star Dua Lipa is also set to perform at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. Following the martial law announcement, fans were left wondering about the status of her concert, but the organizing company, Live Nation, confirmed that the show will go ahead as scheduled, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.
