Comedy Film 'Wild Thing' Begins Production with Star-Studded Cast

'Wild Thing', a highly anticipated comedy film featuring a stellar cast including Kang Dong-won (강동원), Eom Tae-goo (엄태구), Park Ji-hyun (박지현), and the unfortunate balladeer Oh Jung-se (오정세), officially commenced filming on March 30. The film tells the story of 'Triangle', a mixed dance group that once dominated the music scene but disbanded due to unforeseen circumstances. After over 20 years, they get a chance at redemption as they return to the stage in this wild comedy. Kang Dong-won, known for his roles in films like 'Broker' and 'The Drug King', takes on the role of Hyun-woo, the leader and dancing machine of 'Triangle', who now struggles as a survival-type entertainer. Eom Tae-goo, recognized for his strong presence in 'Night in Paradise' and the series 'Lighting Store', plays Sang-goo, the group's passionate yet talent-challenged rapper. Park Ji-hyun, acclaimed for her performances in 'Reborn Rich' and 'Hidden Face', portrays Domi, the center and heavenly vocalist of 'Triangle', who hides her true self post-retirement but can't suppress her girl-crush nature. Oh Jung-se, a versatile actor known for his unique characters in 'The Uncanny Counter' and 'When the Camellia Blooms', takes on the role of Seong-gon, the unfortunate balladeer who always comes in second to 'Triangle', showcasing his comedic talent. 'Wild Thing' is produced by About Film, the company behind the hit comedy 'Extreme Job', and directed by Son Jae-gon, known for 'Sweet, Savage Family' and 'Not a Robot'. With its vibrant characters and chemistry, 'Wild Thing' aims to deliver fresh entertainment to audiences of all generations as it continues filming.
