Comedian Song Eun-i Shares Her Journey as a CEO

On July 30, 2025, comedian Song Eun-i (송은이) appeared on tvN's show 'You Quiz on the Block' (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭) to discuss her dual career as a comedian and CEO. With 32 years in comedy and 10 years running her own business, she has established a seven-story office building in Mapo-gu, housing over 50 employees.
Host Yoo Jae-suk (유재석) humorously commented on her unique outfit as she entered, to which Song responded with a shy acknowledgment of her style. During the show, Yoo expressed admiration for her impressive office, referring to her as a '100 billion won CEO' (100억 CEO). Song, however, downplayed this title, stating, "I don't know where the 100 billion came from; I don't have that much. I just felt good about it."
Co-host Jo Se-ho (조세호) chimed in, suggesting that the current market value of her office is around 7 billion won (70억), further fueling the '100 billion CEO' narrative. Song clarified that her investment in the building was not for profit but to create a space where content can be produced anywhere within it.
She shared that she started her content company during a lull in her broadcasting career, realizing a year later that she had become unemployed. After not receiving any job offers for a year, she discovered new media and had recently learned editing skills, which led her to this venture.
What began as a small team of five, including two writers, herself, Kim Sook (김숙), and a freelance producer, has now grown into a company with 50 employees. Song mentioned that she currently earns a salary of 3 million won (300만 원) and expressed her hope for her employees to grow, even suggesting that they could increase their meal allowances.
