Comedian Park Na-rae Shares Heartwarming Moments with Singer Park Ji-hyun on 'I Live Alone'

On the night of February 7, MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone' featured a touching segment with comedian Park Na-rae and her 'Mokpo sibling,' singer Park Ji-hyun, as they celebrated the holiday together. Previously, Park Na-rae had expressed her special affection for Park Ji-hyun, inviting her to her home with the promise of cooking a fish stew. During the visit, Park Ji-hyun was captivated by the display of trophies in Park Na-rae's home, including those from entertainment awards. She was also impressed by Park Na-rae's impressive pull-up skills in her home gym, which contributed to the fun atmosphere.

To evoke nostalgia for their hometown, Park Na-rae prepared a traditional Mokpo feast for Park Ji-hyun, featuring a mouthwatering array of dishes including fish soup, oyster pancakes, boiled pork, grilled octopus, and grilled rockfish. Park Ji-hyun was deeply moved by the 12-course meal and indulged in the flavors of her hometown. In a particularly affectionate moment, Park Na-rae personally served rockfish fillets over Park Ji-hyun's rice, prompting Park Ji-hyun to ask if she could now call her 'sister.' In an interview with the production team, Park Ji-hyun expressed her gratitude, saying, "I was really touched. It means so much that a senior treats me like a sister. She truly cares for me, like a grandmother."

In a sweet gesture, Park Ji-hyun surprised Park Na-rae with custom-made shoes and tickets to her solo concert, inviting her to bring her mother along. Park Na-rae was thrilled, as her mother was already planning to visit Seoul the day before the concert.

The two also engaged in a competitive game of Go-Stop, which led to a playful yet intense atmosphere. The earlier warmth quickly turned into a humorous rivalry, with Park Na-rae exclaiming, "Are you playing dirty?" and Park Ji-hyun retorting, "Why are you trying to take my cards with your eyes open?" This banter had the viewers laughing.

Reflecting on the night, Park Na-rae remarked, "It felt so comfortable, like having a cousin over. I felt like we could talk all night." Park Ji-hyun added, "It felt like family. When she cooked for me, she felt like a big aunt, and when we played Go-Stop, she felt like a cool aunt. I felt all the love of a family."
