Comedian Kim Kyung-jin Undergoes Emergency Surgery

On December 24, comedian Kim Kyung-jin shared an update about his health on social media, posting a photo with the caption "Merry Christmas!". The images showed him walking in a hospital gown and lying on a hospital bed. He explained, "I’ve been suffering from anal pain for two days and finally went to the proctology department, where I had to undergo surgery due to the severity of my condition. My Christmas plans are now disrupted! #FistulaSurgery #Goodbye2024".

A fistula is a condition where bacteria enter the anal glands, leading to inflammation. It often starts with chronic abscesses or inflammation around the anal glands, resulting in pus discharge and the formation of a tunnel between the inner anal glands and the outer skin.

Kim Kyung-jin's wife, Jeon Soo-min, expressed her concern, saying, "Going for anal surgery on the way to a date... Get well soon, and let’s take care of ourselves!".

Kim Kyung-jin married model Jeon Soo-min in June 2020. The couple recently appeared on KBS2's 'Boss's Ear is Donkey's Ear' on December 16, discussing their preparations for IVF. Jeon Soo-min revealed that her husband has been stressed due to his business, which has contributed to their infertility issues. She expressed her frustration, saying, "IVF requires a lot of involvement from the husband. I’m the only one taking supplements, exercising, and undergoing treatments, while he doesn’t even know when I go to the hospital," which brought her to tears.
