Comedian Jo Se-ho Mourns Victims of Muan Airport Plane Crash

On December 29, comedian Jo Se-ho expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic plane crash at Muan International Airport. He stated, "Hearing the news of the plane accident breaks my heart and weighs heavily on me." Jo extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, saying, "I sincerely offer my condolences and pray for the souls of the deceased."

Earlier that day, at approximately 9:05 AM, a Jeju Air flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, collided with the runway's outer wall while attempting to land. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, was engulfed in flames, leaving only the tail section intact. Out of the 181 people on board, only two crew members were rescued.

The flight carried 175 passengers, of which 173 were South Korean and 2 were Thai nationals. Authorities have reported that, among the 181 individuals on the flight, only 2 survived, while the remaining 179 are presumed deceased.
