Code Kunst Donates 20 Million Won for Wildfire Relief Efforts

Singer Code Kunst (코드 쿤스트) has made a significant contribution to support wildfire recovery efforts in the regions of Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan. On March 29, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (희망브리지 전국재해구호협회) announced that Code Kunst donated 20 million won to aid those affected by the recent wildfires.

In a statement, Code Kunst expressed his hope that the donation would provide some assistance to the victims of the wildfires and to those who are still working tirelessly to extinguish the flames. This is not the first time he has stepped up; he previously donated to Hope Bridge to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria in 2023.

Shin Hoon, the Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, remarked, "The spirit of togetherness is a great source of strength. We sincerely thank Code Kunst for his warm support."

Hope Bridge is actively providing relief supplies, including 450,000 items such as emergency kits, partition walls for shelters, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food to the affected areas. They are also continuing to support meals for firefighters and laundry services for evacuees.

Established in 1961 by various media outlets and social organizations, Hope Bridge serves as a specialized institution for disaster relief fundraising. Its main activities include emergency disaster relief, fundraising and distribution of public donations, community recovery after disasters, and support for vulnerable populations. To date, they have provided 1.6 trillion won in donations and over 60 million relief items.
