Chun Jung-myung Shows Interest in 15-Year-Younger Date on 'Can We Love Now?'

In the latest episode of tvN's 'Can We Love Now?' (이젠 사랑할 수 있을까), actor Chun Jung-myung finally expressed interest in a date who is 15 years his junior during his fourth blind date.

On March 24, Chun Jung-myung met with a new date after previously going on three blind dates with a lawyer, an artist, and a traditional dancer. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, "I believe that true connections and fate exist, and I hope to meet someone like that." When asked if he had yet to find his destined partner, he admitted, "Honestly, I feel like I've changed. To have a fateful encounter, I need to put in more effort. It's not easy for it to come like in the movies, so I’ve realized I need to work hard."

As he waited outside a café, he caught sight of his date, who had a fresh and innocent vibe. He remarked, "It was refreshing and gave off a cool feeling," as he noticed her reading a book. The date, who remembered lines from his past works, expressed her excitement about meeting him, saying, "It felt surreal to meet a character from the screen, and I was nervous about how to get closer."

The date, born in 1995 and studying arts management, was surprised by Chun Jung-myung's youthful appearance, despite their 15-year age gap. They found common ground in their backgrounds in acting and directing. Chun Jung-myung encouraged her to pursue acting, saying, "There are senior actors who are also directors, so you can find roles you like. I hope you try acting since you’re young."

She asked him if he finds happiness in acting and if he would choose to be an actor again if he were reborn. He confidently replied, "Yes, I would still choose to be an actor," which made her feel both envious and respectful of his passion for his career.

At one point, Chun Jung-myung noticed another person nearby and jokingly asked if that person was her boyfriend, feeling a twinge of jealousy. His date clarified that he was just a college friend, which led to laughter. Chun Jung-myung playfully expressed his jealousy, wondering why she was talking to another guy while he was right there, showcasing his cute, competitive side.
