Chun Jung-myung Shares Ghost Story from Filming with Jun Ji-hyun on 'Can We Love Now'

In the latest episode of tvN's 'Can We Love Now' (이젠 사랑할 수 있을까), actor Chun Jung-myung (천정명) recounted a spooky experience he had while filming with actress Jun Ji-hyun (전지현). During the episode aired on March 24, Chun met a date who was born in 1995, making her 15 years younger than him. She was a graduate student majoring in Arts Management, with a background in theater and acting, which sparked a lively conversation between the two about their shared passion for musicals. Chun expressed that their mutual interests made the interaction enjoyable.
When asked if he had ever encountered a ghost while filming, Chun shared a peculiar experience from 2004 when he was shooting an advertisement in Australia with Jun Ji-hyun. He described a moment during a break when he briefly closed his eyes and felt a strange, eerie atmosphere. Upon opening his eyes, he claimed to have seen a ghost, noting the differences between Korean and foreign spirits. Chun described the ghost as a Western reaper dressed in black and wielding a scythe. Initially mistaking it for a person in costume, he screamed and realized it was indeed a ghost. His date, who had served as a tough instructor in the military, playfully questioned whether he was scared of ghosts, to which Chun humorously replied that it was a different story and admitted it was frightening.
