Christmas Eve Celebration: 'Secret Santa' Event Brings Joy to Children in Need

On the afternoon of December 24, a festive event titled 'Secret Santa of Love' was held at the Culture Square in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, organized by the Korea Youth Foundation. Around 850 volunteer Santas gathered, tossing their hats in excitement. These Santas delivered Christmas gifts to over 800 children aged 5 to 10 from socially disadvantaged families, including those receiving basic living support and single-parent or grandparent-headed households. This initiative, which began in 2006 to support children who might otherwise be overlooked during the holiday season, is celebrating its 19th year. To date, it has provided Christmas gifts to more than 17,000 children.
