Choo Sung-hoon (50), a well-known broadcaster and mixed martial artist, has announced the conclusion of his contract with ONE Championship. However, he clarified that he is not retiring from his fighting career. On June 1, he shared on his official social media, "My contract with ONE Championship has ended. I had a wonderful time as a fighter and gained various experiences. I sincerely want to express my gratitude."

Choo added, "I will continue to challenge myself as a free agent fighter. I will show the strength of an uncle. Where will my next battlefield be?"

Born in 1975, Choo recorded a record of 2 wins and 1 loss during his time with ONE Championship. Notably, in March 2022, he defeated Shinya Aoki, who is eight years younger, at the age of 47. Following this match, Choo's overall MMA record stands at 16 wins and 8 losses.
