Choi Yeo-jin Shares Affection for Her New Dad in YouTube Video

On March 25, Choi Yeo-jin showcased her affection for her new father figure in a video titled "[I Want a Personal BBQ Area] I Built It Over a Month" on her YouTube channel. The video features Choi Yeo-jin and her family, along with friends, working on a barbecue area at her home in Gapyeong.

Choi explained, "I set up a temporary shade here, but during winter, the cold wind comes in. I plan to build a movable space where we can comfortably relax in winter. This is just a temporary setup, and I want to create it with many volunteers."

She introduced her father as a strong supporter, saying, "My dad is like a MacGyver." As they began the demolition work, Choi expressed her happiness, stating, "It brings me great joy to know that my loved ones can walk on the path I cleared without slipping."

Previously, Choi Yeo-jin revealed her relationship on the SBS variety show 'Shoe-less and Divorced Men' in August last year. She shared that her partner is a non-celebrity who is seven years older and runs a seasonal sports business. Choi mentioned, "We met while exercising and had been friends for a long time. He’s not my usual type; he’s the opposite in appearance and even shorter than me." Initially, she had set boundaries, but over time, she grew fond of him, calling him her 'tall uncle.'

Choi also disclosed that her boyfriend is a divorcee, and in January, they appeared together on Kim Sook's YouTube channel, drawing attention. Recently, they announced their participation in 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' as an engaged couple, which has sparked discussions about their past relationship.

Interestingly, Choi's boyfriend had previously appeared on tvN's 'On and Off' in 2020 as part of her 'Gapyeong family,' and his ex-wife was also featured on the show. Choi referred to them as "mom and dad figures," showcasing their close relationship, which surprised many viewers.

Choi Yeo-jin plans to address the circumstances surrounding her engagement and her boyfriend's past on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' to clarify any misunderstandings and controversies. Additionally, she has shared her family background in past shows, revealing that her parents are divorced and that her mother is happily remarried to someone eight years younger.
