Choi Kang-hee Returns to TV After Three Years, Expresses Desire to Marry and Raise Children

On November 25, Choi Kang-hee made her return to television after a three-year hiatus on the show 4인용 식탁 (Four-Person Table) aired on Channel A. During the episode, she candidly shared her thoughts on marriage and her ideal partner.

When asked about her views on marriage, Choi stated, "I am not a proponent of singlehood; I do want to get married." She expressed a desire to experience parenthood, saying, "Even if I cannot give birth, I would like to raise a child through adoption." Choi emphasized her wish to live a life filled with love, stating, "There are various family dynamics, and I want to do my best to love and support one another while learning from our shortcomings."

Choi also humorously reflected on her situation, noting, "One day, I realized that everyone around me was getting married, and it was just me, Song Eun-yi, and Kim Sook left. Even during drama gatherings, I would hear, 'Aren't you going home?'" She added with a laugh, "It might be a bit of a slap in the face, but no one has ever proposed to me."

When the panel expressed surprise, asking if she hadn't had many admirers, Yang Chi-seung remarked, "Personally, I feel like she is someone you shouldn't touch; she feels as precious as a daughter or younger sister to me." He further described Choi as having an image of innocence.

When asked about her ideal type, Choi revealed, "I prefer someone who is easygoing, boosts my self-esteem, and doesn’t criticize me too much. I want a man who tells me I can do well."
