Choi Dong-seok Cooks for His Children Amid Personal Challenges

Former announcer and broadcaster Choi Dong-seok recently shared a heartfelt moment on his personal channel, showcasing his culinary skills for his children. On December 21, he posted a message expressing the parental desire to provide nourishing meals, stating, "When I'm alone, I often skip breakfast or eat something quick, but I want to cook rice and simmer some doenjang jjigae for my kids, even if there are no side dishes."
The accompanying photos reveal Choi in the kitchen, preparing a delicious breakfast for his children after a long time apart. He made a hearty doenjang jjigae loaded with mushrooms, freshly cooked rice, and beautifully shaped fried eggs. He also mentioned, "It's been a while since I've grilled meat in the morning," as he showcased his grilling skills.
Fans responded positively, commenting, "This is the best meal!" and "The kids must feel all the love from their dad!" Others noted the vibrant and appetizing nature of the food, expressing their support for him.
Choi Dong-seok, who joined KBS as a 30th-anniversary announcer, married fellow announcer Park Ji-yoon in 2009 and has one son and one daughter. However, he shocked fans last October with the news of his divorce after 14 years of marriage. The divorce proceedings have been contentious, with both parties filing lawsuits against each other, denying allegations of infidelity and continuing to engage in a public dispute.
