ChoA from Crayon Pop Shares Her Dreams for the Future

ChoA, a former member of the girl group Crayon Pop (크레용팝), recently opened up about her aspirations for the next five years. On January 28, she expressed, "Even though I usually laugh and enjoy life, there are moments when I face the reality that my life isn't the same as before, and it can be tough." She reflected on a recent difficult experience, noting, "In the past, I would have shared a drink with my husband to shake it off, but I couldn't this time, which made me feel quite disappointed."
She continued, "I still find it hard to believe that I was diagnosed with cancer. When I confront this reality that I had been avoiding, it can shatter the emotional strength I've built up. However, I remind myself that the life I am currently living is something that someone else might long for, and I try to approach it with gratitude."
ChoA shared her dream for five years from now, saying, "I hope to be celebrating a clean bill of health and enjoying a drink with my husband after a hectic day of parenting! That would be perfect for me. Of course, I plan to take better care of my health by then, and I look forward to that day while gazing at the vintage wine my husband bought for me."
She added, "It’s already been nearly two years, so the day I receive my clean bill of health should come soon, right?"
In 2021, ChoA married a businessman who is six years her senior. She revealed her battle with cervical cancer in October of last year, stating, "The size of the tumor was much smaller than expected during surgery, and miraculously, I was able to preserve my fertility."
As she looks ahead, ChoA encourages others to share their dreams for five years from now, whether they are simple or grand, emphasizing that writing them down can help make them a reality.
"Let’s make those dreams come true together!"
