Chef Lee Yeon-bok Takes on a New Role as Sous Chef on MBC's 'Pook Da Haeng'

In the upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Pook Da Haeng' (푹 쉬면 다행이야), airing on December 16, renowned chef Lee Yeon-bok, with 53 years of culinary experience, will serve as a sous chef on a deserted island. This episode, titled 'Chefs of the Deserted Island,' features culinary experts including Lee Yeon-bok, Japanese cuisine master Jeong Ho-young, and Western cuisine specialist Fabri. Hosts Boom and Heo Kyung-hwan will accompany them on their 0.5-star island adventure, while the studio will feature 'CEO An' Ahn Jung-hwan, Park Jun-hyung, Kim Min-kyung, and chef Raymond Kim discussing the chefs' experiences.

During the episode, each chef will showcase their signature dishes for guests. Fabri will prepare squid ink gnocchi, Jeong Ho-young will present soup curry udon, and Lee Yeon-bok will whip up seafood nurungji soup. The order in which the dishes are served could influence the guests' taste evaluations, leading to a competitive atmosphere among the three chefs.

As they determine the cooking order, the two sous chefs will assist the main chef to ensure each dish is executed perfectly.
