Cheerleader Lee Joo-eun and Kiwoom Heroes Player Park Soo-jong Spark Dating Rumors

Dating rumors have emerged between cheerleader Lee Joo-eun (이주은), 21, and professional baseball player Park Soo-jong (박수종), 26, who plays for the Kiwoom Heroes. On July 21, a series of four photos allegedly featuring the couple began circulating on various online communities and social media platforms. The images show Lee Joo-eun giving Park Soo-jong a back hug and making heart shapes with her hands. Neither party has publicly commented on the photos yet.
Lee Joo-eun is a popular cheerleader who has also gained fame in Taiwan, leading to the spread of these photos among local fans. She became well-known during the 2024 season as a cheerleader for the KIA Tigers, particularly for her catchy dance called the 'Bikibiki Dance,' which is performed when a KIA pitcher strikes out an opposing batter. A video of her performing this dance while touching up her makeup even caught the attention of the New York Times (NYT).
After her time with KIA, Lee Joo-eun transferred to the Fubon Guardians in Taiwan, reportedly signing a lucrative contract worth 10 million New Taiwan dollars (approximately 440 million Korean won). In April of this year, she announced her return to Korea to join the LG Twins, allowing her to balance her career between Korea and Taiwan.
Park Soo-jong, a graduate of Chungam High School and Kyungsung University, joined the Kiwoom Heroes as a developmental player in 2022. This season, he has played in 29 games, recording 6 hits and 1 home run with a batting average of .154 over 39 at-bats.
