Channel A's 'Marry You' to Air Two Episodes Back-to-Back After Suspension
The drama '결혼해YOU' (Marry You) will not air on December 7 due to the ongoing state of emergency and political turmoil surrounding the impeachment proceedings. According to reports from OSEN, Channel A has confirmed that the seventh episode of the weekend drama will be postponed. Instead, episodes 7 and 8 will be broadcast consecutively on December 8.
A Channel A representative stated, "Our weekend drama '결혼해YOU' will not air on the 7th. Instead, episodes 7 and 8 will be shown back-to-back on the 8th, while a special news broadcast will take place on the 7th."
'결혼해YOU' (Marry You) is a comedic family drama that follows the story of a single-minded civil servant, 정하나 (Jung Hana), who struggles to escape from a marriage fraud team by trying to marry off a local bachelor, 봉철희 (Bong Cheol-hee). The show has gained popularity for actor 이이경's (Lee Yi-kyung) comedic performance and has been airing every Saturday and Sunday at 7:50 PM.
On December 3, President 윤석열 (Yoon Suk-yeol) declared a nationwide state of emergency from the presidential office in Yongsan. However, the National Assembly quickly moved to pass a resolution to lift the emergency, which was officially rescinded at 5:30 AM on December 4. The National Assembly is also set to vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon on December 7.
