Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung Team Up to Establish New Agency

Actors Cha Tae-hyun (차태현) and Jo In-sung (조인성) are joining forces to create a new entertainment agency, signaling the birth of a new actor powerhouse. According to reports from OSEN on March 4, Jo In-sung's contract with his previous agency, NS Entertainment (formerly IOK Company), expired on March 3, and he is now preparing to launch the new company alongside his close friend Cha Tae-hyun. Cha Tae-hyun's contract with Blossom Entertainment, which he founded with his long-time manager after leaving Sidus HQ in 2012, also ended in January.

Instead of seeking new agencies, both actors have decided to collaborate and work together. They are well-known as close friends in the entertainment industry, having appeared together in the tvN series 'Unexpected Business' (어쩌다 사장). As avid fans of the Hanwha Eagles baseball team, they often share their leisure time at the ballpark, enjoying games together.

The duo is expected to recruit various actors into their new agency. Both Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung have extensive networks in the industry, having built relationships with stars like Lee Kwang-soo (이광수), Do Kyung-soo (도경수), Kim Woo-bin (김우빈), Yoon Kyung-ho (윤경호), Park Byung-eun (박병은), Lim Joo-hwan (임주환), Park Bo-young (박보영), and Kim Gi-bang (김기방) through various entertainment programs. Fans are already excited to see which actors will join their new venture.

Previously, fellow actors Lee Jung-jae (이정재) and Jung Woo-sung (정우성) established Artist Company, creating their own successful actor kingdom. The anticipation surrounding Cha Tae-hyun and Jo In-sung's new agency is growing among fans.

Meanwhile, IOK Company was founded in 2010 by actress Ko Hyun-jung (고현정) and her brother. Jo In-sung became close friends with Ko Hyun-jung after they starred together in the 2005 SBS drama 'Spring Days' (봄날), and he joined her agency in 2012. Their partnership lasted an impressive 13 years, but Jo In-sung has opted for a new direction instead of renewing his contract.

In his farewell message to IOK Company, Jo In-sung expressed gratitude to the CEO and staff for their unwavering support over the years, stating, "I will not forget the kindness and consideration shown to me during these 13 years. Thank you once again for everything."

Jo In-sung debuted as a model in 1998 and began his acting career in 2000 with the drama 'School 3' (학교3). He has since showcased his talent in numerous dramas and films, including 'What Happened in Bali' (발리에서 생긴 일), 'Spring Days' (봄날), 'Dear My Friends' (디어 마이 프렌즈), 'It's Okay, That's Love' (괜찮아, 사랑이야), 'That Winter, the Wind Blows' (그 겨울, 바람이 분다), 'Moving' (무빙), and films like 'Smuggling' (밀수), 'Escape from Mogadishu' (모가디슈), 'The Great Battle' (안시성), and 'The King' (더킹). He recently completed filming for director Na Hong-jin's movie 'Hope' (호프) and is currently working on his next project, 'Humint' (휴민트).

Cha Tae-hyun made his entertainment debut in 1995 after winning a silver medal at the KBS Super Talent Contest.
