Cha Soo-bin's Character Falls from a Cliff in 'The Call You Are Currently Making'

In the latest episode of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama, The Call You Are Currently Making (지금 거신 전화는), aired on December 14, Cha Soo-bin's character, Hong Hee-joo, was pushed by an assailant and fell from a cliff. The episode depicted the intense reactions of Hong Hee-joo and her husband, Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), as they faced this crisis.

Baek Sa-eon realized his true feelings for Hong Hee-joo and expressed his desire to not go through with a divorce, wanting to change for her. Their chemistry during a workshop surprised everyone present. However, as people gathered at the mountain trail to take photos of Baek Sa-eon, the assailant took advantage of the crowd and pushed Hong Hee-joo off the cliff.

After falling, Hong Hee-joo's phone died, forcing her to call Baek Sa-eon using a different line, 406. In a panic, Baek Sa-eon answered the call, urgently calling out, "Hee-joo!" He then tearfully asked her not to worry and to tell her that he would come quickly.
