Cha Seung-won Named Actor of the Year at KCA Awards

Actor Cha Seung-won has been honored as the Actor of the Year at the 29th Consumer Day KCA Cultural and Entertainment Awards held on November 28 in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.
The Consumer Day KCA Awards recognize outstanding works and individuals across various categories, including film, drama, and entertainment, celebrating those that have garnered significant love from audiences throughout the year. Cha Seung-won has made a remarkable impact this year with his performances in the Disney+ series 폭군 (The Tyrant), the Netflix film 전,란 (Jeon, Ran), and the tvN variety show 삼시세끼 Light (Three Meals a Day: Light), earning him widespread acclaim.
Dressed in an all-black suit and stylish black-rimmed glasses, Cha expressed his gratitude upon receiving the award, stating, "This year has been meaningful as I encountered significant works. I will continue to strive to be a dedicated and hardworking actor. Thank you."
Following his successful year as Actor of the Year, Cha Seung-won is set to continue his prolific career in 2025 with upcoming projects including 돼지우리 (Pigsty), the Netflix series 광장 (Square), and the film 어쩔수가없다 (Can't Help It).
