Cha Joo-young Opens Up About Life Struggles on 'Naraesik'

On January 26, the 'Naraesik' channel released a preview for its 19th episode titled "Meeting a Male Friend and His Wife After 20 Years." The episode features actors Cha Joo-young and Lee Hyun-wook, who star in the TVING and tvN drama 'Wongyeong.' Host Park Na-rae greeted them with a formal introduction, to which the guests expressed their gratitude for the invitation.
Park Na-rae made a cryptic remark, suggesting she could ignore them if they preferred, prompting Lee Hyun-wook to question whether that would be beneficial for both parties. Park noted the unusual feeling of having a friend present, which Lee agreed was a bit strange.
Park hinted at knowing some of Lee Hyun-wook's past secrets from their high school days, teasing the audience with the idea of revealing their shared history. Cha Joo-young took the initiative to connect with Park, asking if she could address her informally, to which Park responded that it would be more appropriate for Cha to call her 'sister.'
During the episode, Park Na-rae offered to conduct an impromptu tarot reading, asking Cha Joo-young what was on her mind. Cha candidly shared her feelings of dissatisfaction with life, stating, "I just don’t know what to do with my life. It feels boring." Park interpreted the tarot cards, suggesting that Cha tends to cut off connections when she feels hurt, which visibly affected Cha, prompting her to express her vulnerability.
Cha remarked on the honesty of the conversation, apologizing for sharing so much, while Park attempted to shift the mood back to a lighter tone. The episode featuring Cha Joo-young and Lee Hyun-wook is set to air on January 29 at 6:30 PM.
