Cha Eun-woo Donates 100 Million Won for Wildfire Relief Efforts

Cha Eun-woo has once again demonstrated his commitment to making a positive impact by donating 100 million won to aid in the recovery from recent wildfires in South Korea. On March 28, the Korean Red Cross announced that the funds will support relief efforts in areas such as Sancheong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, where the wildfires have caused significant damage. Cha expressed his sorrow over the devastating effects of the dry weather and strong winds, stating, "It is heartbreaking to see the reality of the damage increasing. I hope to provide comfort to those who have lost their homes and express my gratitude to everyone working tirelessly on the firefighting and relief efforts." The donation will be used for emergency relief and recovery operations for those who have lost their homes due to the fires. As of March 26, the Red Cross reported that they have mobilized 1,599 personnel and provided thousands of items, including relief kits, blankets, drinking water, and shelters, along with comprehensive support such as psychological counseling, meal services, and mobile medical care. Cha Eun-woo has previously been recognized for his charitable actions, including donating proceeds from his first solo photo exhibition and supporting victims of COVID-19, pediatric cancer patients, and those suffering from ALS. Fans have affectionately dubbed him a 'donation angel,' praising him with comments like "both his face and heart are perfect."
