The film '극한직업' (Extreme Job) has reached its 6th anniversary since its release. On January 24, actor 진선규 (Jin Seon-kyu) shared a heartfelt message on his social media, stating, "1/23 marks the 6th anniversary of '극한직업' with unchanged friends~~~ Happy times!! I can't wait to create '극한직업2' together!! Love you all!" He accompanied this message with several photos taken to commemorate the occasion.

The images feature the cast, including 퓨승룡 (Ryu Seung-ryong), 이하늬 (Lee Ha-nee), 이동휘 (Lee Dong-hwi), 공명 (Gong Myung), and 진선규, gathered together in casual attire enjoying a course meal. A celebratory cake and a banner were also present, showcasing their enduring friendship and the film's impressive box office success over the past six years.

'극한직업' achieved remarkable success, attracting a total of 16,265,658 viewers, making it a mega hit. It currently holds the record for the second highest-grossing film in South Korean history, following '명량' (Roaring Currents), which garnered approximately 17,610,000 admissions.
