Cast of 'Born to Travel the World 4' Competes for Spotlight

In the premiere episode of MBC's new variety show, Born to Travel the World 4 (태어난 김에 세계일주4), which aired on May 11, 2025, cast members 기안84 (Kian84), 빠니보틀 (Pani Bottle), and 덱스 (Dex) each vied for the title of the main character.

The episode showcased 기안84 as he embarked on a challenging trek in Nepal, starting from the base of Mount Everest in Lukla. Carrying a hefty 30kg backpack, he faced the strenuous journey and eventually took a break to rest at a lodge with local Sherpas.

During this time, 빠니보틀 inquired, "Is there no chance to shower?" To which 기안84 humorously replied, "Shower? Are you kidding? I'm exhausted! No one here has bathed!" This revelation left everyone astonished.

Meanwhile, in a luxurious restaurant in Nepal, 이시언 (Lee Si-eon) and 빠니보틀 were enjoying local cuisine. They video-called 기안84, asking, "What time will you join us tomorrow?" 기안84 responded, "I’ll be there in the afternoon," and they agreed to meet at Kathmandu Airport the next day.

Observing the conversation, 장도연 (Jang Do-yeon) asked, "When will 덱스 show up?" to which 덱스 jokingly replied, "Yeah, where's the main character?" In a playful exchange, 기안84 claimed, "Actually, I’m the main character of this show!" and 빠니보틀 chimed in, "I thought I was!"

In contrast, the eldest member, 이시언, remarked, "I didn’t think I was the main character," prompting 장도연 to laugh and ask, "What kind of journey have you all been on to change so much?"
