Car Fire Erupts in Underground Parking Lot of Sokcho Resort, No Injuries Reported

On the afternoon of the 25th, at approximately 2:27 PM, a fire broke out in the underground parking lot of a resort located in Nohak-dong, Sokcho, Gangwon Province. The blaze originated from a parked Equus vehicle. Fortunately, there were no guests present in the resort at the time, and staff members were able to evacuate safely, resulting in no injuries.

Fire authorities responded to the incident and extinguished the fire within about 50 minutes. The fire completely destroyed the vehicle involved.

The police are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire, utilizing surveillance camera footage and other evidence.
