C9 Girl Group cignature Officially Disbands After Four Years

The girl group cignature (시그니처) has officially announced their disbandment after four years since their debut. On December 3, 2024, C9 Entertainment shared the news through their official fan cafe, stating that discussions among the members confirmed the necessity of disbanding the group. As a result, all seven members' contracts will be terminated regardless of the remaining contract duration, and group activities will cease as of November 30, 2024.
C9 Entertainment expressed gratitude to the members for their dedication despite numerous challenges and apologized to fans for the sudden announcement. They encouraged fans to support the members as they embark on new individual paths.
cignature debuted under C9 Entertainment's J9 Entertainment label in February 2020 with the song 'NUN NU NAN NA.' Initially a seven-member group, they faced lineup changes with the departures of members Yea and Sun in 2021, followed by the addition of Chloe and Dohee, returning to seven members. However, after Chloe's departure this year, they continued as a six-member group. Ultimately, after several member changes, cignature has officially disbanded, allowing each member to pursue their own future endeavors.
