Byun Yo-han in Talks for 'Tazza 4' Role

Actor Byun Yo-han is currently in discussions regarding a role in the upcoming film 'Tazza 4'. On November 27, a representative from his agency, TEAMHOPE, confirmed to OSEN that Byun has received an offer to star as the lead character from the film's production team and is actively considering it.
The 'Tazza' film series is based on the popular comic by artist Heo Young-man, focusing on various gambling games such as hwatu and poker, and the dramatic stories surrounding gamblers and their games.
The first installment, directed by Choi Dong-hoon in 2006, received widespread acclaim. It featured notable performances from actors such as Jo Seung-woo as the protagonist Go-ni, Kim Hye-soo as Madam Jeong, Baek Yoon-sik as Detective Pyeong, Kim Yun-seok as Aki, Yoo Hae-jin as Go Kwang-ryeol, and Kim Eung-soo as Kwak Cheol-yong, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. The characters from 'Tazza' have remained popular, often referenced in various online memes.
Following the success of the original, 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' was released in 2014, featuring TOP (Choi Seung-hyun) from BIGBANG, Shin Se-kyung, Lee Ha-nee, Kwak Do-won, and Lee Dong-hwi. In 2019, 'Tazza: One Eyed Jack' was produced, starring Park Jung-min, Lee Kwang-soo, Lim Ji-yeon, Choi Yoo-hwa, Ryu Seung-beom, and Yoon Je-moon.
In 'Tazza 4', Byun Yo-han has been offered the lead role of Jang Tae-young, based on the fourth part of the original comic. The film will be directed by Choi Kook-hee, known for his work on 'Life is Beautiful', 'The Day of the Country's Bankruptcy', and the drama 'No Way Out: The Roulette'.
