Actor Byun Woo-seok has solidified his status as an unstoppable force in the entertainment industry. In the recent 'Hot Character Awards' voting conducted by the global fandom platform UPICK from November 5 to 20, Byun Woo-seok emerged victorious, claiming the top spot among domestic actors.

Byun Woo-seok faced fierce competition from notable stars such as Lee Seung-gi, Song Kang, and Cha Eun-woo, ultimately garnering a staggering total of 30,708,568 votes. This achievement marks his sixth consecutive month at the helm of the 'Hot Character Awards,' a remarkable feat that underscores his popularity.

In addition to Byun Woo-seok, other prominent figures such as BTS's V, Kim Soo-hyun, TWICE's Dahyun, and Ahn Hyo-seop, who are also active in acting, ranked highly in the final standings, showcasing the blend of idol and acting talent in the industry.

As the winner, Byun Woo-seok will be featured in a large digital advertisement on the Hongdae Airport Railroad's screen, which will be created based on designs submitted by his fans.

This year, Byun Woo-seok has captured the hearts of audiences with his role in the tvN drama 'My Name is Seo-joon' (선재 업고 튀어), leading to a phenomenon dubbed the 'Byun Woo-seok Syndrome.' He recently concluded a successful fan meeting in Asia and is enjoying widespread popularity, having received numerous offers for upcoming films and dramas.
