BTS's V Makes Waves on UK Official Charts with Holiday Hits

BTS's V, known as 'Winter Boy,' has demonstrated remarkable resilience by re-entering the UK Official Charts during the peak holiday season. His duet with Park Hyo Shin, 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN),' debuted at 35th in the 'Single Downloads' and 40th in 'Single Sales' categories on December 27. Additionally, 'White Christmas (with V of BTS),' featuring Bing Crosby, has maintained its presence for three consecutive weeks at 91st in 'Single Sales,' while also ranking 13th in 'Vinyl Singles' and 15th in 'Physical Singles' for two weeks. V's ability to penetrate the traditional carol market solidifies his standing in the year-end charts.

V's success extends to Spotify, where 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' has charted at 65th in the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' for four weeks, covering by various artists, including British singer-songwriter Matt Maltese, has helped it become a seasonal favorite this winter.

Other BTS members are also enjoying strong solo success. Jin's title track 'Running Wild' from his solo album 'Happy' is at 84th, Jimin's 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' is at 22nd, and Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' is at 141st in the latest 'Weekly Top Songs Global.' In the 'Weekly Top Albums Global,' 'MUSE' ranks 26th, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' is at 68th, and 'Happy - :)(Remixes)' is at 71st.

Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook showcased their influence as solo artists by winning 'Best Musician Solo' and 'Best K-pop Record' respectively at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024) held on December 27 in Bangkok, Thailand.
