BTS's V Dominates Billboard Charts with Holiday Classic

BTS (방탄소년단) member V has made a significant impact on the U.S. Billboard charts with his rendition of the holiday classic 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)' featuring Bing Crosby. According to the latest Billboard chart released on December 17, 2024, the song debuted at number 93 on the Hot 100, marking V's sixth entry on this chart as a solo artist.

In 2024, V has successfully placed all three of his released songs on the Hot 100, including his digital single 'Friends' (65th place) released in March and his first winter gift 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' (99th place) released in November. This achievement makes V the Korean artist with the most entries on the Hot 100 this year.

'White Christmas (with V of BTS)' has also excelled in various sub-charts, reaching the top of both the Digital Song Sales and Holiday Digital Song Sales charts. It has also made its mark at 43rd on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart, 65th on the Holiday Hot 100, and 72nd on the Global 200. Meanwhile, 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' has maintained its presence in the charts for two consecutive weeks, ranking 17th on the Holiday Digital Song Sales, 56th on the Global (excluding U.S.), and 103rd on the Global 200.

Jimin's (지민) solo career continues to soar as well, with his second solo album 'Muse' debuting at 128th on the Billboard 200. The title track 'Who' climbed four spots to 43rd on the Hot 100. Jimin has now spent 21 consecutive weeks on both major Billboard charts, setting a new personal record and becoming the K-pop solo artist with the longest stay on the Hot 100 in the past decade.

Additionally, Jin's (진) solo album 'Happy' features the title track 'Running Wild' at 46th place, while Jungkook's (정국) first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' is at 85th place, both enjoying sustained success on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. These tracks are also positioned at 97th and 153rd on the Global 200, respectively.
