BTS's V Collaborates with Park Hyo Shin for Duet 'Winter Ahead'

BTS (방탄소년단) member V is set to collaborate with renowned vocalist Park Hyo Shin (박효신) for a new duet. Big Hit Music announced on November 22, 2024, that V's digital single 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 29 at 2 PM KST.

Known for his annual winter releases such as 'Snow Flower (feat. Peakboy)', 'Christmas Tree', and 'wherever u r (ft. V of BTS)', V is bringing a festive spirit this year with a duet featuring a legendary voice.

The song 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' was inspired by V's desire for fans to enjoy a warm and happy winter. As a jazz enthusiast, V proposed the idea of creating a winter-themed track to his close friend Park Hyo Shin, who readily agreed. This collaboration resulted in a jazz pop duet that reflects both artists' musical tastes, honed through their extensive joint efforts.

The romantic lyrics, penned by Jesse Harris, who is known for writing Norah Jones's 'Don't Know Why', blend seamlessly with the warm melody. The soft and gentle tones of V and Park Hyo Shin's voices are sure to convey a sense of warmth to listeners.

In addition to this duet, V has prepared another winter gift, set to be released on December 6 at 2 PM KST. He will unveil a rendition of 'White Christmas', originally performed by the legendary Bing Crosby. This classic, which debuted in 1942 and continues to be beloved worldwide, will be reimagined with V's unique touch, bringing warmth and joy to the holiday season.
